    • Pseudo Streaming is a protocol that can be installed on regular HTTP servers such as Apache, Tomcat, IIS or lighthttpd. It uses a server-side script for Flash-to-Server communication that is supported by HDW ebplayer.
    • A Content Delivery Network (CDN) offers several advantages over a plain webserver for streaming video. For example, a CDN will be able to speedily deliver your videos across the country and globe, it will be able to stream your videos instead of a download and it will be able to scale to large numbers of videos and viewers. The Amazon CloudFront CDN is particularly interesting, since everybody can instantly and easily sign up for it. On top of that, Amazon only charges for usage (in terms of GB of video stored and streamed), so there’s no fixed costs. HDW player (video player & video gallery) supports playback for the streams from Amazon Storage.
    • The HDW player (video player & video gallery) supports Live HTTP DVR streaming as offered by the Bitgravity CDN.
    • If you are using a commercial version with the KEY provided by HDW player (video player & video gallery) Sales Team, you will have option to remove HDW Player FREE text and you will be having your own Domain Name in the Context Menu that comes from the Right Click on the Player.
    • With our HDW player (video player & video gallery), you have freedom of enabling / disabling all the features that you can read in detail from our Documentation part.

    Adding Webplayer to your WordPress require three necessary steps :

    1. Creating a Playlist Name.
    2. Adding Videos to the Playlist.
    3. Adding the Playlist to the Player.
    4. Creating Gallery.
    5. Adding the Gallery to the Player.
    6. Adding Player to WordPres Page/Post

    STEP 1 : Creating a Playlist Name

    1. Go to Site Admin > Settings > HDW Player > Playlist.
    2. Click on the Add New Playlist button.
    3. Provide a Name to the Playlist and Save it.

    STEP 2 : Adding Videos to the Playlist :

    1. Go to Site Admin > Settings > HDW Player > Videos.
    2. Click on the Add New Video button.
    3. Select the Playlist in which you like the video to be categorized.
    4. Congrats! Now you have created the video and added to the playlist.

    step 3. Adding the Playlist to the Player.

    1. Go to Site Admin > Settings > HDW Player.
    2. Click on the Add New Player button.
    3. Configure the Basic player Options and select the needed playlist in Videos section.
    4. Submit the form and check for the shortcode from Grid View.
    5. Just copy the shortcode to your Post and Experience the Playback.

    Step 4: Creating a Gallery

    1. Go to Site Admin > Settings > HDW Player > Gallery.
    2. Click on the Add New Gallery button.
    3. Fill Gallery Settings and save.

    Step 5: Adding Gallery to Player

    1. Go to Site Admin > Settings > HDW Player.
    2. Click on the Add New Player or Edit button.
    3. Select the Playlist Option under Video Settings.
    4. Change the Display Gallery Option From none to Display
    5. Choose Your Gallery Name and Save it.

    Step 6: Add Player to WordPress Page/Post
    1. Copy code from HDW Player listing page.
    2. Paste code to WordPress page/post.

    Change the Order of videos:
    1. Enter the order no in the text box on video list page.
    2. Choose Change order from Bulk Action and click apply button.

    Note : Creating a Playlist is not compulsary. You can also directly add the Video ID instead of Adding as Playlist by just choosing the Single Video Option.

    Search : Plugins can be searched by their functionality using multi-tag search and you can search plugins using their exact name although we are not ensuring Google like search accuracy.

    Create Plugin Lists : You will be able to create list of plugins and share them with Wordpress Community or you can keep them private and use them as a bookmarks.
    e.g. Plugins That I’ve Used on My Site, Best Event Management Plugins, Christmas Plugins etc.

    In WPD, Plugins are categorized carefully. You can browse all the categories from the homepage or you can access the category lists from any page by clicking the button from the left of the website.

    Each plugin listed in WPD is marked with useful tags. You can browse plugins by Tags from the All Tags page

    Searching in WPD

    Multi Tag Search

    You can search plugins using multiple tags. To perform a multi-tag search. Go to Homepage and then in the search field type any keywords or tags(comma separated) and then click on the search button. To search plugins from a selected category just select the category from the dropdown and type your tags.

    If you want to find a specific plugin in our directory, Go to Homepage and then select the "Search in Title" option. Then write the name of the plugin and click the search button to find the Plugin.

    Plugin Lists

    Whats a Plugin List

    Plugin Lists are user created lists of plugins. Any registered users can create Plugin Lists and share it with anyone or make it private.

    Why Create a plugin List?
    • Easy to keep track of your favourite and useful plugin.

    • Share list of plugins on blogs, social media or to a client.

    • Keep a track of what plugins you installed in which of your blogs by creating a list for each blog

    Creating a Plugin List

    To create a Plugin List, click the button from the left of the page; a popup box will appear. In the "List Name" field, put the name of the List. eg: Best Seo plugins for your site.
    In the Description field, put a few words describing the List.
    By default, lists are automatically published as public, which is visible to everyone. If you do not want others to see the List, select "Private" from the dropdown list. Then click the "Create List" button to create the list.

    Adding Plugins to your List

    To add a plugin to your List, go to a plugin page and click the "Add to List" button. A popup box will appear where you can select in which of your list you want to add this plugin. You can add a note if you want, this note will appear below the plugin in your list.
    P.S: You can only add plugins that are in our directory.

    Your Lists will appear in our "Plugin Lists" page when you set the list as "Public" and your list contains atleast 2 plugins.

    Editing your Lists

    When you are on your list page, notice there is a button on the top right corner of the page. Click it to edit the List Name and the List Description.

    Accessing All your Lists

    You can access all your Plugin lists by going to your profile and clicking the "Lists" tab.

    Removing your Lists

    You can remove your Plugin lists by going to your profile and clicking the "Lists" tab. on top right of each list click the button to remove the list completely.
