Getting Started With myCred AI Assistant

Setting up the AI Assistant requires a few steps.

1. Use WordPress 7.0 or Later
   The AI Assistant relies on the WordPress AI capabilities available in this version.

2. Install the WordPress AI Plugin
   Go to Settings > Connectors in your WordPress dashboard and install the WordPress AI Plugin from the Connectors screen.

3. Connect Your AI Provider
   WordPress Connectors supports AI connectors such as Anthropic, Google, and OpenAI. Select your preferred connector.

4. Open myCred > AI Assistant
   The AI Assistant is included in myCred. After your provider is connected, open myCred > AI Assistant to manage points, hooks, ranks, badges, settings, and add-ons in chat.

The Onboarding wizard opens on a new myCred install and walks you through a loyalty program before you use the rest of the admin.

Set up with AI

Describe what members should do, how they earn points, and where those points are spent. Choose a website type, platform, and primary goal, and add an optional prompt. AI prepares a proposal, explains what it understood, and waits for your approval. You can edit the point type, earning hooks, and add-ons, then apply only what you confirm. If AI is unavailable, continue with a ready-made template instead.

Start with a ready-made setup

Pick a website type, platform, and primary goal, such as an eCommerce store on WooCommerce that rewards product reviews. myCred fills in a predefined point type, hooks, and add-ons for that combination. You still review and confirm every item before it is saved.
